What is a Stipulated Award?
The Stipulated Award is where the Insurance Company will pay you bi-weekly permanent disability (PD) payments until your permanent disability percentage is paid. The main feature of this settlement, future medical care (FMC) for your injury, remains open as long as you secure medical treatment in the insurance company’s Medical Provider Network (MPN) for your work injury. If you are a maximum wage earner, your permanent disability payments will be $290/week until your permanent disability is paid; thereafter, generally, no additional monetary amount will be paid to you.
